Cleo Lenamond

Mrs. Cleo D. Lenamond, 67, of Mexia passed away Friday March 31, 2006 in Mexia. She was born July 5, 1938 in Corsicana to Ed and Dovie Price. Mrs. Lenamond, longtime Limestone County resident worked side by side with her husband in their Auto and Salvage business in Dallas and Limestone Counties until their retirement in 1992. Mrs. Lenamond was preceded in death by her husband, R.Q. Lenamond, a granddaughter - Dominique Lenamond, her parents - Ed and Dovie Price, six brothers - Red, Jimmy, Dink, Otis, Gary and Sammy and by two sisters-in-law - Ruby and Pat Price. She is survived by six sons and two daughters - Ronny Lenamond of Ganado, TX, Allen Waddle and wife Pam of Mexia, Stanley Waddle and wife Michelle of Mexia, Randy Lenamond of Huntsville, Ricky Lenamond of Marshall, Ronald Lenamond and wife Jana of Mexia, Norma Banks of Mexia and Jodell "Jody" Patterson also of Mexia. 45 Grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, Brother - Louis "Petelo" Price of Mexia, Sister - Avis "Lucy" Castillo of Mexia and by a special life-long friend and son-in-law - David Burke, Sr. of Kaufman, Texas Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday April 3, 2006 in the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia. Interment will follow in the Cobb cemetery near Thornton. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday evening.
