Donald Robbins

Mr. Donald Ray Robbins, 93 of Lufkin, formerly of Robinson and Houston passed away Friday August 25, 2006 in Lufkin. Mr. Robbins was born January 4, 1913 in Coolidge to John and Jimmie Williams Robbins. Mr. Robbins was an oil accounting production clerk for Humble Oil Co. in Houston for 40 years. He served his country during World War II in the Army. Mr. Robbins was a member of the Baptist church and the train collectors association, Lone Star Division. Mr. Robbins is survived by his children - Barbara Ann Tucker of Jacksonville, Florida, Terry C. Robbins, MD of Lufkin, Kristin S. Cruz of Bellevue, Washington and Sondra Nell Robbins of College Station, Texas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Robbins will be 3 pm Saturday in the Coolidge Cemetery Chapel with the Reverend Brad Brittain officiating. Burial will follow in the Coolidge cemetery.
