Eddie Maurine Price, 101, passed away November 17, 2010 in Stephenville, Texas. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Mexia Cemetery with Rev. Mark Collins officiating. Visitation with family will be 1:00 - 2:30 p.m., Friday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Eddie was born May 16, 1909 in Coolidge, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. W. R. Osborne. She was a longtime resident of Mexia and later moved to Stephenville. Eddie married Lester L. Price on September 11, 1926. They had been married for 55 years at the time of his death on November 11, 1981. Eddie spent her life taking care of her family. She was a wonderful cook and loved to embroidery. Eddie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Jo Nell Price; son-in-law, O. W. Stone, Jr.; seven sisters; and one brother. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda M. Stone and S. Gayle Elkins and husband, Don; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
