Anna Elaine Todd Williams Elaine Williams passed away June 9, 2016. Services honoring her life will be 2PM, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Mart Church of Christ, where she was a faithful member for over forty years, with Mr. Tom Keener officiating. Interment will be at Prairie Hill Cemetery, Prairie Hill, Texas. Visitation will be 1-7 PM, Friday, with family present from 5-7 PM, at the Mart Church of Christ. Pallbearers will be John Walter Desmuke, Camron Fambro, Kelley Crawford, Cody Robertson, Lindy Curry, Billy Curry, Ryan Curry and Jeremy Gillert. Elaine was born August 27, 1932 on the family farm near Munger, Texas in Limestone County, the fourth child born to Ernest Todd and Vivian McDonald Todd. She attended schools in Munger, Hubbard, and Coolidge where she graduated in 1949. Elaine married Walter Carrol Williams December 27, 1949 in Coolidge. They began their lives together living on the Williams family farm. Being a farmer's wife was her life, and she helped Walter with all work connected to the farm. During this time three daughters were born, grew up on the farm, and were each sent off to college. While the girls were in college Elaine worked at Foster's Variety Store and The Martine Dress Shop in Mart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Carrol Williams; parents, Ernest Todd; Vivian McDonald Todd Holman; brother, Ernest Varnell Todd; sister, Maxine Copley, and brother, William A. Todd, and sister Faye Beene. She is survived by her daughters, Pat and husband, Billy Tom Curry of Mart; Beverly and husband, Alex Fambro of Stephenville/Huckabay; Lanelle and husband, Russ Crawford of Kerens; grandchildren, John Walter Desmuke and wife, Gabrielle of Mart; Camron Fambro and wife, Jane of Stephenville; Courtney Crawford Robertson and husband, Cody of Athens; Cadey Crawford Gillert and husband, Jeremy of Athens; Kelley Crawford of Ft. Worth; Lyndal Curry and wife, Jalinda of Lago Vista and Billy D. Curry of Dallas; great grandchildren, Reagan and Harley Desmuke, Brittinee, Scotti, and Jamie Williams of Mart; Sidney, Sadie and Sam Robertson of Athens; Paige and Piper Gillert of Athens; Ryan Curry of Mart; Amanda Curry of Grapevine; and Sarah Curry of Waco; sister, Nelda Foster of Victoria and brother-in-laws, Bobby Beene of Cleburne and Gary Bradshaw and wife, Martha, of Mart as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend and caregiver, Ruth Brown of Mart. Our family would like to thank the staff at Park Plaza and Royal Manor II for the care given to Elaine. To those wonderful nurses and caregivers at 4 South, Hillcrest Hospital and Scott & White Hospice a special thank you for helping all of us through this time. Memorials may be made to Prairie Hill Cemetery Association, Mart Church of Christ, or a charity of your choice.
