Geneva Spradlin Clayton Billman Warrick passed away May 16, 2010 surrounded by friends and family. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Dale Lehfeldt officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Waco. Geneva's journey began on April 7, 1923 in Lott, Texas. She was born to Seaborn Daniel Spradlin and Katherine May Miller Spradlin. Nana helped her family in the fields and at home with her younger brothers and sisters. She was 14 when she began to work as a seamstress. She married Frank Clayton when she was 16. Nana saw the Great Depression end, World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars and the War on Terrorism. She had seen many changes from the Model T to the Ford F150 Pickup that she drove up until her passing. In her later years, she enjoyed her time at the V.F.W. and her many T.A.S.A. friends. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Mexia, Tx. Geneva is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Frank Clayton, Richard Billman and Charles Warrick; her sister, Katherine Tidwell; her brothers, Bill Spradlin and J. D. Cloer; her son-in-law, Dan Baker; and her great-grandson, Landon Rusnak. She is survived by her two daughters, Joan Baker of Robinson and Patsy Clayton of Desota; her son, Frank Clayton, Jr. and wife, Gaynell of Mexia; her sister, Helen McIntosh; her brothers, Monroe Spradlin and wife, Wanda, Jim Spradlin and wife, Barbara (Bob) and Raymond Spradlin and wife, Barbara; her sister-in-law, Maxine McClain and husband, Paul; her grandchildren, Mylynda Callahan, Daren Glidewell and wife, Mailyn, Melissa Cooper and husband, Donnie, Stacy Hanzl and husband, David, Dawn Rene Clayton, Clint Howard and wife, Kiri, Clayton Glidewell, John Rusnak III and wife, Betty, Michael Rusnak, David Rusnak and wife, Janet and Joseph Rusnak; her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Elizabeth and Jason Callahan, Austin, Leiliani, Gabriel, Daniel and Amaris Glidewell, Trey Cooper and wife, Jocelyn, Dan Cooper and wife, Jessica, Isaac, Savannah, Samuel, Rachelina and Shiloh Cooper, Jacob and Michael Hanzl, Wyatt Howard, John Rusnak IV and wife, Atoya, Sarah Harrison and husband, Jimmy, Cady and Matthew Rusnak; great-great grandchild, Solomon Cooper; and many nieces, nephews and friends that she deeply loved. Nana always told us not to buy flowers when she was gone, but instead buy a child a pair of shoes.
