George Wayne Neal, 68, of Thornton passed away July 13, 2010 in Groesbeck, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Brushy Cemetery with Rev. Joe Tucker officiating. George was born August 12, 1941 in Leon County to Jesse James and Lestil Loise (Moore) Neal. He was a plumber by trade. He lived his early years in the Flo Texas Community. George was a member of the Flo Community Church. He loved deer hunting, playing guitar and reminiscing about the past with anyone who would listen. He also enjoyed old time country music and would sit down and sing with anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents. George is survived by his wife, Annette Neal; two sons, Willie Neal and wife, Candise and Samuel Neal; daughters, Renee Mills and husband, Dean, Peggy Cooper and Crystal Page; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
