Glen Earl Killingsworth, 79, passed away January 11, 2015 at his home in Personville, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Steve Cowart officiating. Interment will following in the Little Flock Cemetery in Jewett. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Glen was born June 5, 1935 in Lost Prairie, Texas to Claud and Desi Gibson Killingsworth. He retired from Nucor Steel after many years in the shipping department. Glen married Margaret Ann Thomas on November 18, 1955 in Teague, Texas; they were blessed with three children, Terry, Kim and Kathy. Glen’s life revolved around his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You could find him at any sporting or any other event in which his grandchildren or great-grandchildren were participating. When he wasn’t busy with his family, he enjoyed watching football on TV. He was a member of the Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Ann Killingsworth; and siblings, Jake, Johnnie, Melvin, Troy, Alvis, Herald Dean, Chlodean and C. D. Killingsworth. Glen is survived by his children, Terry Killingsworth and wife, Paula of Mexia, Kim Taylor and husband, Lane of Personville and Kathy O’Bryant and husband, Randy of Mexia; grandchildren, Nicki Hagen and husband, Conrad, Mandi Masters and husband, Keith, Lana Catalena and husband, Justin, Janelle Hunter and husband, Brian, Terra Cockerham and husband, Chris, Corey Tunnell and husband, Wes, Kasey Ladd and husband,Wade, Shane Killingsworth and wife, Ashleigh, Chase Killingsworth and Chad O’Bryant and wife, Misty; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Maurice Killingsworth of Teague; sister, Imogene Johnson of Personville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Shane Killingsworth, Chase Killingsworth, Chad O’Bryant, Conrad Hagen, Wade Ladd, Justin Venable, Keith Masters, Brian Hunter, Chris Cockerham, Wes Tunnell, Wes Hagen, Rhett Hagen and Hays Catalena.
