James Hanrahan Obituary

James Jeremy Hanrahan left his loving family on November 19, 2014 in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Bro. Darrel Beggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Point Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 3-5 p.m., Sunday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Jeremy was born February 2, 1986 in Mexia, Texas. He attended school in Teague. He joined the First Baptist Church of Teague and was baptized by Bro. Darrel Beggs. Jeremy worked for BNSF Railroad before moving to Houston to begin his career as a safety coordinator. He enjoyed working with numerous charities and watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and A & M Aggies. Jeremy was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend. He was preceded in his rest by his grandfathers, Noah “Buddy” Taylor and Jim Hanrahan; and nephew, Landon Taylor. Left to cherish his memory is his “Rock” and mother, Tracie Taylor; father, John Hanrahan; brother, Joey Taylor and wife, Lauren of Groesbeck; sisters, Courtney Jaecks and husband, Kevin and Jenny Hanrahan; grandmothers, Nelda Allen and Ann Hanrahan; aunts, Marsha Taylor and Michelle Lawless; uncles, Barry Taylor, Tom Hanrahan and wife, Teri and Jimmy Hanrahan; nephews, Logan, Chance and Riley. Also, his lifelong friends, Todd Solley, Marcus Raymond, Jeff Linam and Wesley Jones; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends; and his devoted dog, his boy, Sam. Pallbearers will be Todd Solley, Marcus Raymond, Jeff Linam, Wesley Jones, Ben Jones, Michael Lamb and Barry Taylor.
