Mrs. Janet Elizabeth Dondanville Schroeder,99, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009 in Mexia. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 4 PM in the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia. Burial will be in St. Aiden's Cemetery in Freeborn County, Minnesota. Mrs. Schroeder was born Feb. 16, 1910 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to Frank and Lida Skinner Dondanville. She married James Price Schroeder Sept. 1930 in Illinois and he passed away April 1, 1976. Mrs. Schroeder worked for 42 years as an educator. She is Survived by her son, James B. Schroeder of Mexia, Grandchildren, Mary Anne Brown, Catherine Frances Fitterer, Margaret Carey Johnson and James David Schroeder.
