Margaret Jean Neason, 68, of Thornton passed away July 28, 2011 at her home in Thornton, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Central Baptist Church in Thornton with Rev. Tracy Sims officiating. Interment will be in the Thornton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Kramer, Rickey Ridge, Travis Towers, John Wayne Towers, Shane Masters, Troy Waddle, Jud Hughes, and Keith Tumlinson. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Thornton. Jean was born January 18, 1943 in Groesbeck, Texas to Willie Garth and Claudia Murlene Williams Towers. She had lived in Thornton her entire life except for 7 years, when she resided in Houston. Jean was a longtime, faithful member of the Central Baptist Church of Thornton, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Joe Neason, Sr. of Thornton; children, Warren Mitchell Neason, Joe Neason Jr., and Kassey Michelle Neason; grandchildren, Katie Nichole Neason, and Hunter Caige Neason; great-grandchildren, Jade Drulynn Neason, Jordyn Raelynn Neason, and Billy Ramirez IV; and brothers and sisters, Feller and Sue Ridge, Pricsilla Holmes, Joe Towers and Sandra Beil, Jim and Margaret Towers, and Jeffrey and Darleen Towers.
