Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 1:00 PM in Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel, 605 S. McKinney St., Mexia, Tx., for Jeffrey Scott McBay, 20, who passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in Lafayette, La. Interment will follow in LaSalle Cemetery. Dr. Charles T. "Tommy" Roberts will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his parents, Scott and Renee McBay of Lafayette; one sister, Cameron Elizabeth McBay of Lafayette; grandparents, Don and Jerri McBay of Fairfield, Tx.; two aunts, Betty Benham and husband, Mike of Tyler, Tx. and Leigh Roark and husband, Mark of Groesbeck, Tx.; two uncles, Steve Fuller and wife, Darlene of Hollwood, SC and Mike Fuller and wife, Jina of Fairfield, Tx.; two great aunts, Janet Daniels and husband Phillip of Youngsville and Diana Bradley and husband, Jimmy of Groesbeck, Tx.; numerous cousins; and his girlfriend, Katie Colvin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cameron and Linda Hutto; one uncle, Jeffrey K. McBay; and his great grandparents, A. B. and Udean McBay. A resident of Lafayette for most of his life, Jeffrey Scott McBay was a loving person and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family requests that visitation be observed on Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.
