Jimmy Lester Danford, 57, of Mexia (formerly of Buffalo) passed away October 1, 2009 in Mexia. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM, Monday, October 5, 2009 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. Rev. Rusty McMahon will officiate with interment to follow in the Keechi Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 PM Sunday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Jimmy was born on March 27, 1952 in Palestine, Texas to Lester and Beatrice (Coats) Danford. He worked in auto sales for many years. Jimmy was a member of the Community Christian Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Dana Danford of Mexia; two sons, Lance Danford and wife, Mary of Los Angeles, California and Chase Danford of Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren, Olyvia and Jake Danford of Los Angeles, California; and several nieces and nephews.
