Juanita Wilson Chandler passed away at the age of 89 in Ashdown, Arkansas on September 1, 2014. She was born on July 15, 1925 in Farrar, Texas. She was a Christian and a Baptist. Juanita retired from the J. C. Penney Company; she loved to garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Alton H. Chandler.
Juanita is survived by one son, Wayne Chandler and wife, Kathy of Ashdown, AR; one sister, Mae Baldree and husband, Bob of Hearne, TX; five grandchildren, Steve Chandler and Clint Sherron of Ashdown, AR, Chris Chandler of Midland, TX, Beth Icenhour of Texarkana, AR and Melissa Craig of Red Water, TX.
Visitation with the family will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2014 at New Hope Cemetery in Limestone County, Texas with Rev. Bob Baldree officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Temple Baptist Church, Mexia, Texas
