Lexus Koncaba Obituary

Lexus Evett “Lexi” Vine Koncaba was born on August 5, 1997 in Mexia, Texas. She passed from this life, just 20 years after birth, due to an auto accident while on a trip with her sister, Brianna, her husband, Matt and his sister, Hannah (who also lost her life in the wreck). Lexi had a varied path through life, belying the normal kid by being bright and bubbly and loving her vegetables, and, because she loved animals and tamed even wild cats, she was fondly known by family members as the ‘crazy cat lady’. She was involved in activities while in school, including cheerleading. She met Matt at Haunted Hollow, where they were both working at the time, fell in love and married on May 21, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Matt; sister, Brianna; father, Rodney Ray and his significant other Charity Oliver; mother, Christina Ray and her significant other Michael Danz; grandfather, Alvin Chapman; and parents in law, sister in law, nephew in law and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held 2PM Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Living Proof Church in Groesbeck, Texas.
