Loretta Ann “Lori” Shields, 57, of Tehuacana passed away February 12, 2015. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m., Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Tehuacana Cemetery. Lori was born July 17, 1957 in Mexia, Texas to John Lee and Patricia Ann Robinson Shields. She was a lifelong resident of Tehuacana and a graduate of Mexia High School. She was a production supervisor of PACTIV-Reynold in Corsicana for eight years. There were three major things that were most important to Lori, her love for God, her family and she was an avid Texas Rangers fan. Lori loved traveling, especially with her mother, and music. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tehuacana. She was preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Shields; maternal grandparents, Earl and Elizabeth Robinson; and paternal grandparents, Ted & Ora Shields. Lori is survived by her parents, Johnny and Pat Shields of Mexia; brothers, Tony Shields of Mexia and Andy Shields and wife, Stacey of Magnolia; niece, Andrea Spence of Corsicana; nephews, Kenneth Shields of Groesbeck and Jaston Shields of White Settlement; aunts and uncles, Frances and Preston Johnson, Brenda Shields and Lynnda Crim all of Tehuacana, Robert and Bessie Robinson of Chandler and Jeannetta Bronaugh of Conroe; numerous cousins and friends. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Providence Hospice and the loving support given by Shari McCall throughout Lori’s illness.
