Louise Matthews Kennedy, 77, passed away April 26, 2014 in Grapevine, Texas. Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2014 in the Point Enterprise Cemetery with Rev. Mark Matthews officiating. Louise was born May 24, 1936 in Groesbeck, Texas to Alfred and Erby Hines Matthews. She worked for the First National Bank in Mexia, Mexia State School and retired from the prison in Rosharon, Texas where she worked for 21 years as Secretary to the Warden. To Louise, there was no greater joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Matthews. Louise is survived by her children, Tom Kennedy and wife Audra, Debbie Wills and Danny Kennedy all of Grapevine; three grandchildren, April Day, Travis Wills and John Wills; two great-grandchildren, Garrett Day and Grayson Fuselier; brother, Alfred Matthews, Jr. of Carrollton; sister-in-law, Helen Matthews of Mexia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
