Martin Serna "Mark" Rodriguez, 45, of Mexia passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010, as the result of an auto accident near Mexia. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Mario Rivera officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Mark was born February 1, 1965 in Dimmitt, Texas to Pedro and Concepion (Serna) Rodriguez. He had been a resident of Mexia for 25 years. Mark was employed as a produce stocker at the Mexia Wal-Mart Store. He married Tonya Lynn Massey on February 7, 1993. Mark's family was his pride and joy. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother and was loved by many. Mark will be missed by his family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Diana Maxwell. Mark is survived by his loving wife, Tonya of Mexia; mother, Concepion Serna; children, Krystal Louise Alavarez and husband, Jorge Alberto, Brandi Lynn and Jaiden Lee Rodriguez all of Mexia; sisters, Isabel Rodriguez, Janie Zavala both of Mexia, Mary Rodriguez of Memphis, TX; and brother, Pedro Rodriguez, Jr. of Pampa, TX. Pallbearers will be Scott Sims, Bobby Knutson, Troy Hudgins, Steven Rodriguez, Michael Garza, Joel Olivares, Saul Contreras and David Tedford.
