Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Leona Johnson, 86, of Jewett will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia. Interment will follow in the Plummer Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 4 - 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Blair- Stubbs Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born December 6, 1921 in Ennis, Texas to Joe Wesley and Lilly Lenora (Honza) Mach and passed away in the Mexia Hospital on February 21, 2008. She was a resident of Jewett for over 25 years, a telephone operator for Southwest- ern Bell Telephone in Dallas, a seamstress and a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, O. B. Johnson in 1999, and one brother, one sister, son, Oscar Stephens, Jr. and grandson, John Wesley Mobley, III. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Shannon and husband, Larry, of Dallas and Rose Stephens of Garland, grandchildren: Kim Christensen and husband Perry, Debbie North and husband, Kendell, and Josh Stephens, and three great grand- children, Brittney Wortham, John Wesley Mobley, IV, and Sadie Stephens. Pallbearers will be Perry Christensen, Kendell North, Josh Stephens, and John Mobley, Jr. The family wishes to thank the staff of Copper Creek Nursing and Rehab and Parkview Regional Hospital for their excellent care. Mother and Grandma, you will be in our hearts forever. .
