Michael Dale Samples, 34, of Groesbeck passed away, Saturday, October 20, 2012 at his residence. Michael was born January 10, 1978 in Greenville, Texas to Roger Dale and Marvell Sue Hindman Samples. Michael married Laura Denise Harrell, November 18, 2006 in Mexia. He was a Quality Welding Inspector for Foster-Wheeler North America Company. Michael attended the First Assembly of God Church in Mexia. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Laura of Groesbeck; daughters, Kaitlyn Faith and Hannah Grace Samples, both of Groesbeck; mother, Marvella Sue Samples of Greenville; sister, Stephanie Lynn Collinsworth of Greenville; grandmother, Doris Sims of Mexia; mother and father-in-law, Deborah and Danny Brooks of Mexia; sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Brian Baker of Cedar Hill and sister-in-law, Kristi Rhodes; and by several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 10AM, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia with the Reverend Bryan Hallmark officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Pallbearers will be Ace Eberle, Chris Mays, Keith Mays, Gary Sims, Austin Eberle, Wayne Sims, Greg Popko and Keith Wojcik. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church Youth Fund in Mexia, Texas.
