Graveside services for Mrs. Myrtis Irene Reid, 94 of Mexia will be 2 p.m. Sunday, At Pattison Cemetery near Emhouse. Rev. Marcus Sheffield will officiate with Interment following in Pattison Cemetery.. Mrs. Reid was born August 20, 1912 in Daingerfield, Texas and passed away on March 1, 2007 in Mexia. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church. She had been residing in Mexia for the past year. Survivors are daughter: Peggy Tyner of Mexia, 12 grandchildren, number of great Grandchildren, and brother, James McDuffie of Sagnaw, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, James G. and Matilda Hall McDuffie, her husband, Arthur Templeton (Pie) Reid and two children, James Hill and Marie Yarborough.
