Mrs. Nona Elizabeth Yarbrough, 93, of Lacy Lakeview passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in Waco after a brief illness. Mrs. Yarbrough was born October 19, 1916 in Freestone, Texas to Ed and Fannie Elizabeth (Waldrip) Cameron. She had lived most of her life in the Teague and Freestone County area and had worked as a nurse's aide. Mrs. Yarbrough retired from the Fairfield Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Graveside funeral services will be 4 PM Saturday, October 16, 2010 in the Old Bethel Cemetery in Limestone County with Neil Bond officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1 until 3 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Yarbrough was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Fannie (Waldrip) Cameron; stepmother, Jennie Cameron; brother, Headlee Cameron, Gaston Cameron and Thomas Weldon Cameron; sister, Hazel Duffy; and infant daughter, Mary Ruth Yarbrough; step-siblings, Delmar, Clifton and Lilla Etheridge. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Yarbrough and wife, Disy, Donald Yarbrough and wife, Cheryl all of Mount Calm; grandchildren, LaDonna Long and husband, Steve, Stanley Eugene Yarbrough and wife, Lisa, Kelly Fieseler and husband, Robert, Aaron Yarbrough and wife, Candice; great-grandchildren, Angela Hager, Andrew Long, Rachel Long, Louis, John and Kenneth A. Yarbrough, Peyton, Kenlly and Annie Fieseler, Taylor, Luke and Cole Yarbrough; great-great grandchildren, Lilly and Scarlet Hager (yet to be born); sister, Virgie Pingleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
