Mrs. Ola Mae Northcutt, 90, passed away early Monday morning, November 10, 2008, at her home in Prairie Hill, Texas. Service will be held at Prairie Hill Baptist Church, Wednesday, November 12, at 10:00 a.m., with Reverend Fred Sain officiating. Internment will follow in Prairie Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening, November 11th, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Mrs. Northcutt was born June 18, 1918, in Prairie Hill to William Dalton and Lillie Dale (McKinney) Jones. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked many years for Mexia State School. Mrs. Northcutt is survived by her son, Johnny Northcutt and daughter-in-law, Mary Jane of Prairie Hill, daughter-in-law, Barbara Burke of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Sabrina and Bubba Carter, Shane and Rebecca Northcutt, Mary Ann and Chris Hitchcock, Robyn and Michael Duke, and Norris Dabney III, as well as 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Conrad Northcutt, son, Jerry Burke, and brother, William Dalton Jones, Jr. Pallbearers are Shane Northcutt, Bubba Carter, Donald Erwin, Kevin Smith, Chad Michum, and Auturo Oliverez. Honorary pallbearers are G. W. Waldrop, Chris Hendrick, Brian Frankum, and Gary Suttle.
