Patricia Ann Lucas Prince born January 12, 1934 to Wayne and Marie Randal Lucas in Shiloh, Tx, peacefully passed away January 1, 2015 in Mexia. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Joe Lucas, Sr. and Joe Lucas, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Saturday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. She is survived by her sons, Randy Prince and wife Ellen of Longview, Tx, Lee Wayne Prince of Houston, Tx and daughter-in-law, Janet Prince of Palestine, Tx, daughter, Sandra Gwyn and husband, Ronnie of Waco, Tx.; brothers, Benny Lucas of Shiloh, Tx and Joe Lucas and wife, Shelda of Mexia, Tx; six grandchildren, Emily Smith and husband Marty of Longview, Tx, Jason Prince and wife Shelby of Big Springs, Tx, Katy Prince of Longview, Tx, Jenna Lee Prince of New York, NY, Wayne Gwyn and wife, Jessica of Elko Nevada Priscilla Hoffmeyer and husband, Jason of Waco, Tx; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Donna Arnold of Shiloh, Tx whom was with her at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Nell Lucas of Shiloh; and late husband, Calvin “Speedy” Prince of Lott, Tx. She was a faithful member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. She loved people, never met a stranger and greeted everyone with a smile and friendly conversation. She spent most of her life helping others especially the elderly. Patricia lived a full life raising her three children in Lott, Tx. In 1978 she went to work for Contreras Hospital in American Biologics in Tijuana, Mexico as their public relations director. She had been diagnosed with cancer and was being treated there at that time. For the next 25 years Patricia traveled the world giving lectures on how to deal with stress and surviving cancer in your daily life. She was an accomplished author, lecturer, mother, grandmother and a friend of many. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all. Pallbearers will be Jason Prince, Marty Smith, Lance Lucas, Chris Murphy, Gerry Cox, and Tim Stephens.
