Memorial services for Ms. Portia Coye Bass, 64, of Coolidge will be 1 p.m. Wednesday March 26, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Coolidge with Rev. Larry Holden officiating. Ms. Bass was born on September 25, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to Robert (Bob) and Joann Bass and passed away on March 24, 2008 in a Waco hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coolidge. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Bass and her sister, Penny Bass. Ms. Bass is survived by her mother, Joann Bass Renfro of Waxahachie, step-father, Allie Renfro, son, Hardy Bass and wife, Laurica, of San Antonio, grandsons, Samuel, Levi and Micah Bass, sister, Pam Bass of Galveston and nephews, Brandon and Adam Moore, special friends, Robert and Margaret Sheppard, several cousins and many friends.
