Mrs. Reba Faye Hancock Long, 80, of Mexia passed away January 14, 2009. A memorial service for Mrs. Long will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Forest Glade Cemetery. Mrs. Long was born October 30, 1928 to Albert Robert and Mary Maggie Lockett Hancock in Franklin, Texas. She has been a resident of Mexia since 1934. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James C. Long. She is survived by her son, Paul Barrett and wife,Debra of Mexia; sisters, Nellie Francis Smith of Vista, California and Dorothy Marie Arnold of Carrollton; brothers, Edward Lee Hancock of Ft. Worth, James William Hancock of Mexia and Malcolm Donald Hancock of Victoria; and a number of nieces and nephews.
