Mr. Robert Jerrell "Bob" Wilson, 67, of Mexia passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010, in Waco. Graveside Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Williams-Tooke-Wilson family cemetery in Limestone County (8 miles east of Mexia on 1365 to Grove Island, then right on FCR 901, 2 miles on the left). The Reverend Brad Brittain will officiate at the service. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 7:30 to 8:30 at the funeral home. Bob was born October 12, 1942 in Waco to Cecil and Emma Elois (Mangum) Wilson. He was a pressman for the Mexia Daily News for many years. Bob considered himself a Christian first and then a member of the Prairie Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Peggy of Mexia, his sons, Robert J. Wilson, Jr. of Midway, Terry L. Charrette of Gilmer, Curt Wilson of Mexia and Thomas K. Wilson of Mexia, Grandchildren, Richard Stanley, Tylor Charrette, Devon Wilson, Aiden Wilson, Conovan Wilson, Jaxon Wilson and Avyn Wilson. He is further survived by brothers, Vano Wilson of Houston and L. Wayne Wilson of Marlin and by a number of nieces and nephews and special friends.
