Jose Rosario Luna, 55, of Mexia passed away February 25, 2011 in Houston.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Benji Magnaye officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.  Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Rosario was born to Guillermo and Antonia Barco Luna on July 30, 1955 in Guanajuato, Mexico.  He was self-employed in the Nursery business and had lived in Mexia since 1984.  Rosario's love for his family and church was evident in his life.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margarita Barco Luna; and son, Peter Luna. Rosario is survived by his parents, Guillermo and Antonia Luna of Groesbeck; wife, Elizabeth Luna of Mexia; children, Jose Luis Luna and wife, Martina of Dallas, Rosario Luna, Jr. of Mexia, Elizabeth Tello and husband, Eliseo of Grand Prairie, Araceli, Victor, Patricia, Rocio, Zenaida and Magali Luna all of Mexia; granddaughter, Madison Marie Luna; and brothers and sisters, Juana, Raul, Valentin Luna and Ana Calvillo. Pallbearers will be Jose Luis Luna, Victor Luna, Javier Salgado, Raul Luna, Juan Gallegos, Ubaldo Hernandez.  Thomas Atkins will serve as honorary pallbearer.
