Mr. Rossie Lee Foreman, 58 of Mexia passed away Thursday September 21, 2006 in Waco. He was born July 7, 1948 in Mexia to Roland and Dorothy Ruth Phillips Foreman. Rossie Lee was a lifelong resident of Mexia. He attended Dunbar School and attended services at the Mexia Revival Center. Rossie Lee loved to drive and had been across the country many times as truck driver. Also for many years he prepared graves for Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home digging them by hand and seeing that all details were handled properly. Rossie Lee never met a stranger and could remember a persons name whom he had met many years before. He loved to fish and he was a regular at many of the stock tanks in the area. He will also be missed around several domino tables in town Rossie Lee is survived by Vera of Mexia, his mother, Dorothy Ruth Dixon, Sister, Evelyn Jean Phillips, Brother, Roland Foreman, Stepsons - Robert Quigley and Kenneth Quigley, Stepdaughters, Mary Ann Benjamin and Linda Childs. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aniquae Childs, Marvin Childs, Jr. and Raymond Childs and a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, special nephew Edrick Phillips, nieces, Ebony and Shanta and other relatives Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday, September 25, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church in Mexia with Brother Lewis Peoples, Brother Thomas Dansby, Brother Billy Jack Freeman and Brother Lewis Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5 to 7 pm at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Wade Keeling, Robert Quigley, Kenneth Quigley, Willie Dansby, Dee Asberry, Willie Keeling and Jesse Keeling Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Keeling, Marvin Childs, Mac Robinson, James (Bishop) Asberry and Dennis Winston
