Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Roseleen Hearon Sharp, 82 will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2006 in Central Baptist Church in Thornton. Rev. Billy Anderson will officiate with interment following in Thornton Cemetery. Mrs. Sharp was born on February 17, 1924 in Shady Grove (Houston County) ,Texas and passed away on July 31, 2006 in Austin, Texas.. She had lived in Cedar Park for four years, but prior to that was a longtime resident of Thornton. Her parents were William Bascomb and Ethel Jane (Hooks) Hearon. She was a nurse assistant and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Thornton. She is survived by her children: Jane Szymczak and husband, Ed of Houston, Dale Rhodes and husband, Jerald of Leander, Aubrey Sharp, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Houston, Corena LeGalley and husband, Charles of Houston, Eva Reynolds and husband, Tommy of Edinburg and Stella Noey and husband, Jim of Marquez; Brother: Donald M. Hearon of Dallas and sister, Martha Knight of Centerville, 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday night at Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home in Thornton. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home in Thornton in charge of arrangements.
