Services for Ruby Faye Short, 72, of Teague, Texas will be 2 p.m., April 1, 2008 at Blair- Stubbs Chapel in Mexia. Ruby was born March 27, 1936 in Lewisville, Arkansas and passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 in Mexia, Texas. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Henry Dorsey Short; a brother, H. D. Short and two sisters, Marion Jaubert and Martha Battistella. Survivors include two sisters, Doris Draper of Cypress, CA and Betty Hall of Longview, Texas and a sister in law, Evelyn Short of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Interment will be 11 am.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the Wilson Cemetery of Lewisville, Arkansas.
