Funeral services for Ms. Ruby Jeanette Stokes, 75, of Mexia will be 2:30 PM Monday at the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia. Burial will follow in the Mexia cemetery. Ms. Stokes was born October 16, 1933 to Garnett and Hilma Stokes. She passed away Friday, October 24, 2008 in Temple. Survivors include her sister, Jeanne Ann Merritt of Houston, her brother and sister-in-law, Garnett and Ida Nell Stokes of Alba, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a niece, Beverly Stokes.
