Ms. Sharon Elizabeth Walpole, 48, of Mexia passed away Tuesday Jul;y 24, 2007 in Mexia. Sharon was born Oct. 8, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama to John Henry and Dorothy Jane Reed Jones. Sharon was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia. She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, John Jones and Charles Walpole, III. She is survived by her son, Jory Wayne Walpole of Mexia, grandchildren, Bailey Elizabeth Jones, Jared Michael Fleming, Haylee Cheyenne Fleming, Shaylea Shayan English and Alexis Rochea English. She is also survived by her siblings, Frieda Howard and husband Skippy of Darien, Georgia, Becky Howard and husband Michael of Townsend, Georgia, Rhonda Rowe and husband Fred of Townsend, Georgia, Pat Owen and husband Gary of Thornton, Texas, Frances Dick and husband Ricky of Townsend, Georgia, John Jones and wife Lisa of Mexia, Texas, Lisa Roe and husband Donald of Coolidge, Texas and Marvin Jones and wife Emily of Lexington, Kentucky Funeral services will be 4 pm Friday, July 27, 2007 at the Blair-Stubbs funeral home chapel in Mexia with the Rev. Rick Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Mexia cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Owen, Jeremy Owen, Barry Owen, Jeff Gipson, Michael Carter and Keith Guthrie. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
