A memorial service for Terry Gene Meeks, 49 of Wortham will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. at 1460 E. Main in Gun Barrell City and proceed to the memorial service. Flowers may be sent to 712 Pritchell, Kemp, Texas. Mr. Meeks was born September 11, 1957 in Tyler, Texas to Billy Joe Meeks, Sr. and Mildred Shinn Meeks and passed away on May 12, 2007 in the Mexia hospital. For more than 30 years he was employed by Ace Leo Plumbing Co. in Corsicana. He is survived by his parents, Billy J. Meeks, Sr. and Joann; Children: Samatha Townzen of Forney, Texas; Destinee Nicole Meeks of Wills Point, Lora Jean Meeks of Wortham and Kasie Elizabeth Marie Meeks of Wills Point; grandchildren: Jessica Nicole Townzen, April Dawn Townzen and Hannah Nicole Allgood; brother, Billy J. Meeks, Jr. Of Wylie and sister, Donna Lynn Vaugh of Kemp, and fiancé, Marie Johnson of Corsicana.
