Jo Fielder Smart was born July 13, 1945 in Corsicana, Texas and passed away in Houston, Texas January 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Lud and Cora Alvira Fielder and her son-in-law Cameron Wayne Bammel. She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Bammel and her two sons and daughters-in-law Clay and Kimberly Armstrong and Michael and Kristina Cain. She is also survived by her sister Cora June Fielder. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Shane Bammel, his wife Taryn Bammel, Aubrey Armstrong, Cassidy Armstrong, Riley Armstrong, Mackenzie Cain, Adam Cain, Xerxes Green and Bridin Green. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Cotton Gin Cemetery with Reverend Shane Norcross officiating. Visitation with the family present will be Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 12:00 – 1:00 prior to the graveside service at 2:00 p.m.
