David Wayne Bouler of Natalia, Texas passed away on September 1, 2017 in Ozona, Texas at the age of 65. David was born on September 29, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to Ariel Bouler and Josephine (Holtz) Bouler. He began his career with Pearl Brewery but retired from CPS in 2014 after 25 years of dedication. David was a passionate man who loved life and lived his to the fullest. He was an involved father, faithful husband, proud “Grandad”, caring friend and well-loved family member. He cherished his family and friends and the times spent together. He enjoyed watching his sons participate in various rodeo events, traveling with his loving wife, fishing at the coast, whether it be from the boat or wade fishing, hunting, going to the deer lease, spending time with friends at his second home in Rockport, reminiscing on old memories with lifelong friends at their monthly “Men’s Meeting” and supporting his grandkids in participation of sporting events. Most importantly, he thoroughly enjoyed cooking delicious food for his friends and family. He was a “master griller” in the eyes of any person he had met. David was involved in CCA and NRA. David was proceeded in death by his parents; brother, Lawrence Bouler, and former spouse, Kathy Reinhard. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Rice-Bouler; sons, Cody Bouler and wife Jessica, and Tyson Bouler and wife Kelsey; step-son, Shayne Rice and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Tyley Bouler, Brazos Bouler, Tanner Bouler, Tanner Rice, Tayler Rice, and Tracen Rice; sister-in-law, Bernice Bouler; nieces, Kristen Crocker and husband Jeff, and Bree Ann Cook and husband Corky; and his beloved canine companion “Earl”. David was a man who loved so deeply and has left his handprint on many hearts. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, September 9, 2017 10:00 a.m. Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia Reverend Dr. Josh Walters will be the officiant of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to the American Heart Association at donatenow.heart.org or to the charity of choice. Honorary Pallbearers: Al Neubauer, Glen Palmer, Gary Baring, Mike McCulloch, Joey Wooten and Chris Lambrecht.
