Dorothy (Irwin) Ellison entered into eternal rest on May 1, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born on June 16, 1930 in Stockdale, TX to William and Kitty Mae (Springs) Irwin. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin H. Ellison; and grandson, Dustin Stewart. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Elaine (Randy) Stewart of Stockdale; sons, Jackie Albert (Laura) Ellison of Stockdale and Winston Hays (Dianne) Ellison of Fair Oaks Ranch; grandchildren, Janese Schaefer, Erik Ellison, and Christopher Ellison; and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel- Stockdale. Funeral Service Wednesday, May 3, 2017 10:00 a.m. Finch Funeral Chapel Stockdale, TX Gary Irwin and Dan Estes will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Stockdale Cemetery.
