Larry Eugene Lyssy age 64, born to Henry Thomas and Regina Lillian (Kroll) Lyssy on September 19, 1943 in Kosciusko, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 in San Antonio. Mr. Lyssy proudly served in the US Army Reserve for seven years, was a lifelong member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko, and led his life as an avid farmer. Surviving him is his wife of 38 years, Margaret Lyssy, of Kosciusko, mother: Regina Lyssy, brothers: Rudy Lyssy and wife, Evelyn; Harry Lyssy and wife, Sally; Mark Lyssy and wife, Penny, sister: Evelyn Laskowski and husband, Ernie, numerous nieces and nephews along with six great-nieces. Also surviving him are his parents-in-law: Cleo & Mary Wiatrek, brothers-in-law: Raymond Wiatrek; Gilbert Wiatrek and wife, Janet; Larry Wiatrek and wife, Penne, and sister-in-law: Evelyn Drzymala and husband, Claude. Preceded in death by his father Henry Lyssy in 1998. Viewing to be held Tuesday, 6:00PM – 8:00 PM, Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM, September 9, 2008 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Kosciusko, Texas. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM, Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Kosciusko Father Wojiech Pelczarski to officiate. Interment to follow at St. Ann’s Parish Cemetery, Kosciusko, Texas
