Roberto Sanchez

Robert Sanchez, went to be with the Lord, on March 25, 2016, while surrounded by his loving family. Robert was a long time resident of Robert Lee Texas where he lived his life and raised his family. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Robert Lee Hispanic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
He was born on February 11, 1929 in Duval County. Robert, better known as "Grandpa Robert," to all those he affectionately loved, was notorious for spoiling and loving all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren that brought him the most Joy.
Robert was an accomplished contractor that served the Robert Lee community and local communities. His career of contracting touched many lives with the numerous homes and office facilities he built throughout his work life.
He is survived by his wife, Pasquala Sanchez of San Angelo TX, son, Robert Sanchez Jr. and wife, Paula Sanchez of Midland, TX; daughter, Margarita Flores and husband Monico Flores of Euless, TX; daughter, Rosa Long and husband Kyle Long of Robert Lee, TX; son, Armando Sanchez and wife Mitzi Sanchez of Lubbock TX; son, Mike Sanchez and wife Elicia Sanchez of Andrews, TX and his daughter, Lisa Mahoney and husband Joe Mahoney of Euless, TX. In addition to his beloved children, he leaves behind ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
His family thanks the nurses, doctors and caregivers at the Senior Care facility of San Angelo and Gentiva Hospice Care.
