Shaffer Funeral Home NORA JEAN STILWELL SAN ANGELO – Nora Jean Stilwell was born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 8, 1944. Nora moved to Maryland in 1957 where she would meet her future husband, John B. Stilwell. The couple married in Baltimore on May 18, 1962, they later moved to Texas in July of 1981. Nora was employed by Forsan I.S.D., where she and John retired from in 2004. The couple moved to Grape Creek, Texas where they continued their journey together of 55 years. Nora’s health had been declining for several years before her death on December 14, 2017. Nora was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Dorothy Adamski. Nora is survived by her loving husband; three children, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Sunday at the funeral Home with family present from 2-4 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 18, 2017 at Shaffer Funeral Home’s Pioneer Chapel with interment to follow in Pioneer Memorial Park.
