JOVITA GONZALEZ SAN JUAN – Jovita Gonzalez, 86, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at her residence in San Juan. She was born on April 9, 1934, to Uvaldo Gonzalez and Altagracia Hinojosa Gonzalez in Roma, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto Gonzalez; two grandsons, Omar Montalvo, Joe Ray Buenrostro; two sisters, Emma Ramirez, Irma Yunez; a nephew, Patrick Ramirez. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by four children, Ernesto (Lavinia) Gonzalez of Pharr, Mary Frances (+ Ricardo) Cavazos of San Juan, Deborah (Robert) Ybanez of Pharr, Ramiro Patricio (Velma) Gonzalez of Donna; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Corina Chapa, Humberto Gonzalez, Flavia Anderson, Uvaldo Gonzalez Jr., Eugenio Gonzalez. In loving concern for everyone’s health and protection a private visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. The family gratefully appreciates the many prayers, words of kindness, and love that have been shared with us. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.Obituary
