Paul Garcia Jr.

MCALLEN - Paul Garcia Jr., 66, went home to our Lord Sunday, March 14, 2021, surrounded by his family. Mr. Garcia was born and lived in McAllen most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Martina Garcia; a grandson, Eustacio Christian Mireles; and a brother, Robert Garcia. Mr. Garcia is survived by his common-law wife, Anna Vela; three children, Irene (Eustacio) Mireles, Robert Garcia, both of McAllen, Yvonne (Aaron) Castro of Boerne, TX; nine grandchildren; and six siblings, Raymond Garcia of Fort Worth, TX, Richard Garcia and Lee Roy Garcia, both of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Irene Farias, Ida Reyna, and Rene Garcia, all of McAllen. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
