Linda Peel
Linda “Darlene” Peel passed away on April 24, 2017 in Buchanan Dam after a brief illness with cancer. She was born on April 3, 1951 in San Saba, Texas to R.C. and Fannie Peel. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. She loved her family very much. She loved to fish and quilt. She was always making a quilt for one of her family members. She is survived by 2 daughters: Reta Hunt and husband, Melvin of Tow, and Sherry Berryhill and husband, Tim of San Saba; 3 sons: Tommy Pierce of San Saba, Pat Pierce and wife, Paula of Burnet, and Jerry Lee Pierce and wife, Shauna of San Saba; 1 sister: Reta Peel of San Saba; 9 grandchildren: Stephen Hunt and wife, Kim of Plugerville, Tabitha Berryhill of San Saba, Sonni Hunt of Kingland, Justin Pierce of Burnet, Sabrina Berryhill of San Saba, Destiny Pierce of Brownwood, Billy Berryhill and wife, Anabel of Tow, Wade Pierce of Burnet and Forrist Pierce of San Saba; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers and 1 granddaughter.Obituary
