Dorothy Mae Thomas

Dorothy Mae Whitfield was born October 13, 1938, to Judge and Bell Young Whitfield in Briary District. She attended Shiloh and Wilson White Public School. She was a member of Manasseh Church of God in Christ, Rosebud, Tx., for many years, where she played piano. She owned and operated “Dottie Fashion”
Survivors are two sons, Walter Thomas and Scottie Thomas; seven daughters, Dorothy Barksdale, Nissi Thomas, Marlee Cummings, Shirley Thomas, Kim Dorsey, Sherry Thomas, and Gail Thomas; three brothers, Judge Whitfield, Artis Whitfield, and Robert Whitfield; two sisters, Charlie Mae Horton and Marie Hall; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren
