Maxine Cornelius Heggar was born May 10, 1926, to James Minor and Stella Givens Jones in Austin, Texas. She attended school in Bartlett, Texas. She united with Crestview Church of Temple.She was married to Frankie L. Heggar. She worked for Four Season Nursing Home, Tutors Nursing Home, and as a cleaning tech for Carolyn Culp Fletcher.
Survivors are: four daughters, Julie Berry of Arlington, Mary Wallace of Dallas, Stella Bagley of Sulpher Springs, and Carolyn Johnson of Temple; 26 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
