Ruben Quintero, age 68, of Rogers passed from this life during the mid-morning hours of Friday, December 13, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Ruben was born on the 30th day of June 1951 in Rogers to Ramon and Soledad (Molina). During his early years Ruben attended school in Rogers. Ruben loved to have a good time. He enjoyed listening to Tejano music, dancing and hanging out with his friends and family. Family meant everything to Ruben; they were the biggest part of his life. You knew when you were parting company he would always say “Te Quiero, I Love You.” Ruben made his living as a truck driver when he was able to. He was a lifelong resident of Rogers. Ruben is preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Soledad as well as 3 sisters and 4 brothers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his 3 sons Benjamin of Austin, Moses of Colorado and Jarred of Arkansas. He also leaves behind sisters Sophia Garza and Josie Vargas both of Rogers as well as brothers Salvador Quintero of Rogers, Jimmy Quintero of Round Rock and Tommy Quintero of Austin. Grandchildren Janielle, Marissa, Parker and Dominick Quintero are also surviving along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home at 10 o’clock a.m. Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
