Obituary for Nannie Hill

Nannie Lee Hill was born May 8, 1924 in Spring Creek, TX to the union of Mose and Virginia Hawkins Hill. She became a Christian early in life. She also entered the work force early in life, having worked at Patti Welder High School, then on to Victoria College; and lastly Brownson Home as a cook for children for over 45 years. She loved children!

Nannie is survived by sister in law Marie Hill and brother in law Brack Threadgill, both of Victoria, TX; and first cousin, Edward “Punt” (Pauline) Price of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Nannie was preceded in death by her sisters Josephine Boyd, Ora Louise Hill, Mary Harvey Simmons, and Annie Lee Threadgill (her twin sister); her brothers Henry Hill, Clemon Hill Sr., Earna Hill, Mose Hill Jr., and Solomon Hill, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Grace Memorial Chapel beginning at 11:00am with Brother Victor Frasier, officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Cemetery.
