Charles G. Tyler, Jr., 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior November 16, 2019 in Waxahachie. He was born February 1, 1945 in Kansas City, MO to Sarah Ethel Bratcher and Charles G. Tyler, Sr. He met his wife of 44 years, Joan, as a result of her father’s inviting him to dinner with his family after having worked together for 10 years. Charles enjoyed NASCAR, soccer and woodworking and in his younger days coached, refereed, and played soccer. He enjoyed long conversations with his two best friends John Blase and Don Ashlock. Charles was a truck driver for 50 years and worked for Transcon Motor Freight for almost 25 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Donna Joan Tyler, sons Charles Keith Tyler and Joseph Thomas Tyler, daughters Jennifer Lynn Tyler and Janie Elizabeth Tyler and her fiancé Charles Ryan Robinson, grandchildren Haleigh, Aleisha, Matthew, Ariel and Kira, great-grandchildren Keaton and Bryleigh: brother-in-law Ellis Lindsey and wife Kelley, nephews Kiel and Alex; sister-in-law Jane Clark and nephews Kevin and Kent.
