Dallas Ariel Johnson Obituary

Dallas Ariel Johnson, Age 26, was called home to our heavenly father from the comfort of her own home in Salem on December 11, 2019 to be among the angels. Her passing was simply a tragic accident. Dallas was born in Payson Utah at Mountain View hospital on June 1, 1993 to the parents of JaNae Johnson Greenhalgh (Mother) and Truman Martin Lyon (Father). She graduated from High School in 2013. She went through some additional schooling and did an internship for a veterinarian clinic in Payson. She went to school and became certified as a phlebotomy technician. She was very passionate about helping animals as well as people. Dallas was in a serious and long-term relationship with Draper C. Jackson for six years and had plans to be married in the future. Dallas lived most of her life here in Salem Utah with her family. She strived to help people and truly put efforts into understanding the way others thought. She battled with her inner demons just like all of us do, but while doing that she also worked hard at being positive and enjoyed lifting the spirits of others. When you were down, Dallas was an amazing person to turn to because she was a great listener and always tried to be there and comfort you. Dallas was a baptized member of the LDS church. Growing up she was in horse vaulting, she did very well and achieved many awards. As she grew up, she played softball and was very good at it. She was always a team player and loved the game. Other things Dallas enjoyed was arts and crafts, putting things together, drawing and enjoyed writing poetry. In the many projects that Dallas did she took a lot of pride in all of them and loved to put her own style into them. She loved spending time with her dog Toto, he was like a child to her. There weren’t many places she would go without him. He has been there to help her through so many challenges in life and was her best friend. The most important, was that Dallas loved her family and friends. She loved being able to sit around, tell jokes and laugh. She loved watching all sorts of movies (especially the scary ones) she loved the holidays and was always festive no matter the time of year. Dallas is survived by JaNae Johnson Greenhalgh (Mother) Truman Martin Lyon (Father) Jay Dakota (Tamara) Greenhalgh (Brother) Korban Jay Greenhalgh (Brother) Paige Nicole Lyon (Sister) Stetson Tuff Greenhalgh (Brother) Draper C Jackson (Significant other) Alan Robert Johnson (Grandpa) Norma-Rae Johnson (Grandma) Billie Jean Vasey (Grandma) Along with many Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Loved Ones and Friends. The first viewing will be held on Tuesday December 17th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and the second viewing will be held on Wednesday December 18th from 9:30am to 10:45am, both at Cherry Ridge Chapel located at 1129 South 250 West, Salem Utah 84654. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday December 18th followed interment will follow services at Salem City Cemetery located at 130 East 965 South, Salem Utah. We appreciate everyone’s love and support. We are in need of help so any donations help out tremendously. We have set up a go fund me for Dallas as well as donations can go directly to JaNae personally to help with funeral expenses. Thank you!
