Mark Whipple

Mark Erwin Whipple, Sr. 55, of Swanton passed away on June 30, 2017 after his battle with cancer at Northwest Medical Center in St. Albans. He was born on September 26, 1961 in Morrisville son of Earl and Jeannine (Ferland) Whipple. He was a truck driver and at one time owned his own trucking company. He enjoyed helping on the family farm, antique tractor pulling and helping his best friend Dick Morris. Mark was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother and son. He is survived by his wife Barbara of Swanton; his son Mark Jr. and his wife Michelle of Hardwick; two daughters Heather of St George, Ashley of Alma, MI, his mother Jeannine and brother Michael both of Wolcott, brother Marcel and his wife Lori of North Wolcott, sister Christine and her husband Jeff of Westford and sister Annette and her husband Shane of Glover, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and 5 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father Earl Whipple, nephew Luke Whipple, grandparents Whipple and grandparents Ferland and aunts and uncles. Services for Mark will be held on July 22, 2017 at 11 am at the Most Holy Name of Jesus, 301 Brooklyn Street, Morrisville VT.
