Roland Wanser

Roland M. Wanser 81 of Bolton died March 23, 2017 at VNA Respite house. Roland was born on January 31, 1936 . He grew up in Babylon Long Island. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the US Salem and the US Iowa from 1954 to 1956. After his sea duty he was stationed in Boston where he met and married Amelia Ferullo. Later Roland trained to be a glassblower and retired from IBM in 2001. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Amelia Wanser of Bolton, His son Wayne and his wife Cindy of Milton, His daughter Wendy and her husband Duane Fencyl of Oklahoma City, OK, and his daughter Joan of Milton. Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother Virginia (Mott) and stepfather Leonard Wanser, brothers Robert, George, and Leonard Wanser. Per Roland's wishes there will be no public services held.
